The Triennial Agreement recognises the importance of local government authorities working together to improve the Bay of Plenty.

The agreement represents the shared desire of local government in the Bay of Plenty to work collaboratively to maximise effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Objectives

  • Meet the current and future needs of the Bay of Plenty communities for good quality infrastructure, public services and the performance of regulatory functions in a cost effective manner;
  • Promote an agreed consultation process for preparation and review of the Regional Policy Statement.
