## Bay of Connections Strategy

The [Bay of Connections Growth Strategy](https://atlas.boprc.govt.nz/api/v1/edms/document/A3887581/content) was launched on 19 December, 2011. It outlines an economic future for the Bay of Plenty.

## Rotorua Lakes Strategy

The Rotorua Lakes Strategy sets out a management framework for the lakes of the Rotorua district and their catchments.

The refreshed Strategy for the Lakes of the Rotorua district was adopted in September 2013.

## Tauranga Harbour Strategy

The [Tauranga Harbour Integrated Management Strategy](https://atlas.boprc.govt.nz/api/v1/edms/document/A3888580/content) was prepared by Bay of Plenty Regional Council with support from Tauranga City Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council and the harbour community. It involved input from experts such as environmental scientists and consultation with key community members.

## Tauranga Harbour Recreation Strategy

The [Tauranga Moana (Harbour) Recreation Strategy](https://atlas.boprc.govt.nz/api/v1/edms/document/A2405182/content) outlines tasks that need to be done by each council in order to better manage the recreational use of the harbour.

## Water Sustainability Strategy (western Bay of Plenty)

A Water Sustainability Strategy specifically for the western Bay of Plenty has been developed to look at how we allocate and manage water in the long term.
