  • Water monitoring- Bay of Plenty Regional Council
The Regional Council monitors rivers, lakes, tidal, rainfall, meteorological and air quality sites throughout the Bay of Plenty. The majority of these sites are telemetered i.e. the data from them is transmitted back to base via the radio or phone network. this maybe useful for older students to see how the Council is always checking the status of the water
