Resource consent applications to Whakatane District Council and Bay of Plenty Regional Council: Creswell New Zealand Limited

Creswell New Zealand Limited applied for consents to expand the existing Otakiri Springs Water Bottling Plant (Otakiri Springs) situated at 57 Johnson Road, Otakiri, Bay of Plenty Region.

Otakiri Springs holds an existing land use consent from the Whakatane District Council for the water bottling plant and Robertson Farms holds an existing water permit from the Bay of Plenty Regional Council for the abstraction of groundwater for bottling, frost protection and irrigation purposes.

The Independent Hearing Commissioners made a decision, on behalf of the Bay of Plenty Regional Council and Whakatane District Council, on 11 June 2018, to grant the resource consents.

Resource consent application number RM17-0579: New Zealand Transport Agency

New Zealand Transport Agency applied for consent to construct and operate the Tauranga Northern Link (TNL); the relocation of part of the state highway network.

The Independent Hearing Commissioners made a decision, on behalf of the Bay of Plenty Regional Council, to grant the resource consents.
