You can now view climate change projections and impacts for the Bay of Plenty Region on our interactive mapping tool.

The maps display projections for a range of data sets (such as hot days, dry days and rainfall) for 2040 and 2090, based on two different scenarios. One scenario (RCP 8.5), where we don’t put much effort into reducing carbon emissions, and another where we put in a medium effort (RCP 4.5).
