In 2013 25% of the Bay of Plenty population identified as being Maori. Read about our work with Maori in the region.

Procurement
Each year the Bay of Plenty Regional Council purchases more than $50 million worth of goods, works and services.

The seven district councils in the Bay of Plenty collect and administer most rates on behalf of the Regional Council.
