Regional Pest Management Plan: Discussion Document

Bay of Plenty Regional Council is beginning to develop the next Regional Pest Management Plan (RPMP).

The RPMP is developed under the Biosecurity Act and is the key policy document that directs how pests (unwanted organisms such as plants and animals) are managed in the Bay of Plenty.

We've now gathered feedback on a discussion document and will be looking to use this information as we develop the next RPMP.

Note: The existing RPMP remains in operation until 30 September 2017. Council intends to notify the next RPMP before the current one expires.
