SmartGrowth, the spatial plan for the western Bay of Plenty is being updated.
Since its establishment in 2004, SmartGrowth has been at the heart of many initiatives that have helped take the western Bay forward.
To maintain this momentum the strategy is being updated to focus on a wider spectrum of key issues and identify priority actions for the western Bay. From the economy and the environment to cultural heritage and building stronger communities and providing collaborative leadership and advocacy, SmartGrowth has it covered.
To find out more and have your say on the updated SmartGrowth Strategy please come along to public information evenings in your community.
Monday, 6 May from 5.30pm at Classic Flyers, Jean Batten Drive
Tuesday, 7 May from 5.30 at the Katikati RSA, corner of Henry and Main Road, Katikati.
Thursday, 9 May from 5.30pm at Kiwi 360, State Highway 2, Te Puke.
