Community Initiatives Fund

The Community initiatives Fund was established to support projects that support/enhance the work of Council and that are not eligible for other Council funding e.g. Environmental Enhancement Fund, School Sustainability and Resilience Fund, Te Hāpai Ora – Regional Community Outcomes Fund or other Council funds.

• Application period: 8 March to 9 April 2024 (during Long Term Plan Submission period)
• Funding available: $200,000 per annum
• Funding period: Three years – 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2027

All decisions are at the discretion of Council and funding decisions will be made at Council deliberations on the Long Term Plan in May 2024.
