The Draft Regional Land Transport Programme 2012/15

The Regional Transport Committee (RTC) has prepared the Draft Regional Land Transport Programme (Draft RLTP). It includes all the land transport activities proposed by the region's local authorities and the New Zealand Transport Agency for the next three years.

These activities (with the exception of some ongoing work such as maintaining local roads, and existing public transport services) have been ordered to provide a clear picture of the region's transport priotities.

The Programme also considers how much is likely to be spent on transport activities in the region over the next 10 years, the amount of funding available and the likely sources of that funding.
