Resource Consent Application Forms

Below is a listing of the Bay of Plenty Regional Council consent application forms which can be downloaded.  You need to fill out the base form and a specific activity consent form for each application you make (unless you are applying for a bore which does not require the base form to be filled out).

These forms are provided as a guide for general applications, further information may be required for your particular situation or if your proposal is large. Application for consent will only be processed with an original signature and accompanying deposit fee.

You can obtain an application form in three different ways.

1. Pick one up from any Bay of Plenty Regional Council reception
2. Ring the Consents Administration team and request forms to be sent to you 
3. Print the forms from the links below

To fill out the form electronically you will need to have Microsoft Word and follow these steps:

• Click on the 'electronic' version of the application form you need to fill out.  You will be asked whether you want to 'Open' or 'Save' the document.  Click on 'Save'.  Then open the document up.    
• Upon opening the consent document you will automatically be taken to the first fill-in field.
• Use the TAB button or your mouse to move between fields.
• Do not use the RETURN/ENTER button.
• For the tick box fields use your SPACE BAR (or alternatively use the mouse to check these boxes).
• Save the document again then print a copy and sign it.

Forms

There are two versions of the forms, an electronic version and a print version.  If you wish to fill the form out by hand please use the 'print version'. If you wish to fill out the form on your computer, use the 'electronic' version. 

The base forms, consent of persons affected and submission forms have changed as a result of the Resource Management (Simplifying and Streamlining) Amendment Act 2009 which came into effect on 1 October 2009.  Please delete any old versions you have downloaded.
