Current publicly-notified consents

Western Bay of Plenty District Council has applied for a comprehensive stormwater discharge consent to authorise infrastructure and discharges within the urban areas of western stormwater catchments including: Waihi Beach, Tanners Point, Tuapiro, Ongare Point, Te Kauri Village and Katikati.  The application number is 67093.

The intention is to surrender all existing stormwater discharge consents held in the above mentioned areas at such time as the comprehensive stormwater consent is granted.

The application documents can be viewed at the Bay of Plenty Regional Council office at 6 Rata Street, Mount Maunganui during normal office hours.  As this is a large document, it will not be available in printed form or on this website.  However, copies can be requested in CD form from the Water Administration Team by phoning 0800 884 880.
