Snow poppy is a perennial developing from long rhizomes.The petioles are reddish and the leaves are glaucous in colour, leathery, round with wavy margins and 10 to 15 cm in diameter. The flowers consist of four snow-white petals, bright yellow anthers, are 3- 4 cm across and are carried in loose panicles on stems up to 40 cm tall.Habitats
