DescriptionScrambling herb with tendrils. Stems hairless. Leaflets in one pair with leafy stipules (scale appendage) at base. Flower usually magenta or purple-pink (rarely white). Pod to 110 mm long.
Where is it found?Waste places, banks, coastal sands and gravel.
How do I get rid of it?
Dig out or rotary slash. Will regrow after slashing.
Glyphosate + Penetrant may be effective. It would pay to rotary slash old tough foliage and then spray regrowth.
Rate - Handgun 1 litre Glyphosate + 200 ml Penetrant/100 litres water. Knapsack 100 ml Glyphosate + 20 ml Penetrant/10 litres water.
Spray with Glyphosate.
