Upgrade to clean heat now with the Rotorua Hot Swap* loan - an interest free loan up to $4000 exclusive of GST and paid off over 10 years - to convert old wood burners and open fires to clean heat.

You can choose between a heat pump, an approved wood burner, a pellet fire or flued gas heating.

The Fine Print

To be eligible for the Rotorua Hot Swap Loan you must:

• Be the ratepayer of the property
• Have your rate payments up to date
• Have a operable non-compliant wood burner or open fire in the main living area of your house
• Have your privately owned property in the urban airshed - Map of eligible zone (197KB)
• Agree to have your non-compliant wood burner or open fire decommissioned or removed
