Bay of Plenty Regional Council hosted Te Tōanga Mai o Te Rā: Enhancing Māori Capacity Conference in April. The conference shared knowledge, skills and experiences with iwi-Māori of the Bay of Plenty region. It promoted ways to increase Māori capability and capacity to contribute to Council decision-making processes, and established new relationships while enhancing existing ones.
