Regional Transport Committee Terms of Reference (18 KB, pdf)

Delegated Function

Section 105(1) of the Land Transport Management Act 2003 requires the Regional Council to establish a Regional Transport Committee for its region. Section 105 is a new section dealing with the establishment of Regional Transport Committees and was inserted in the Act by the Land Management Amendment Act 2008 which commenced on 1 August 2008.
